Sarat Sasikumar

Sarat Chandran Sasikumar, PMP, CSM. Senior Technical Program Manager, Columbus, Ohio.

I lead the programs where AI meets the plant floor, the warehouse and the ERP.

22 years delivering enterprise systems for Nissan, Costco, Capital One, Abercrombie & Fitch and the State of Delaware. Today I run AI programs that have to work in real operations, not just in a demo.

The scale I work at

Two decades across ten industries, from the first fuel pump I wired in Mumbai to AI that now posts purchase orders straight into an ERP.

$60M+in documented business results across retail, manufacturing and AI programs
12+AI and data programs governed at once for Nissan North America
20+major organizations delivered for, in the US, Ireland, India and the Netherlands
22years in IT, 13 of them leading programs in the US

Selected programs

Each started with a business problem, not a technology. The full set of case studies is on the work page.

Nissan North AmericaAutomotive, through Random Trees

A GenAI insight tool for plant and supply chain leaders

Leaders had no real-time view of downtime. I owned delivery of an LLM and RAG tool on Azure AI, validated it directly with business sponsors, and governed it alongside 12 other AI and data programs.

$5M a yearin savings credited by the business
Big LotsRetail, stores and distribution centers

Recovering inventory lost between systems

Order, warehouse and store systems disagreed with each other. I led the root cause work across IBM Sterling OMS, Manhattan WMS and NCR POS and a three-phase stabilization program.

$40Min inventory discrepancies recovered
Abercrombie & FitchGlobal retail

Buy now, pay later at every checkout

Led the Klarna rollout across online checkout and in-store POS, launching in the US and then in international waves, with legal and compliance in every release.

$19Mrevenue increase that year

AI that hasn't been validated against real operations isn't a shortcut. It's a risk nobody has priced yet.

I started my career testing systems before anyone was allowed to depend on them. I bring the same discipline to AI: clear success criteria, model validation, responsible AI documentation and honest status reporting.

I write about this at EchoEthics, starting with the hidden cost of unvalidated AI in supply chain.
